Bangladesh lies in the delta region formed by the confluence of the rivers Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna. It was in 2003 that Mahindra made inroads into the country. Comprising of mainly rural population, Mahindra pickups have been sought after in great volumes for agricultural and commercial purposes.
Collaborating with Rangs Motors, a part of the reputed Rangs Group, the Company has set up six dealerships which are used for the distribution of both utility and light commercial vehicles.
With Scorpio and Bolero finding an increasing presence on the urban roads, and Maxx pickup and Maxxi trucks being used for commercial applications in large numbers, Bangladesh has emerged as an evolving market in south-east Asia.
